Music is deeply embedded in the Waldorf curriculum.

Beginning with simple songs in the Early Childhood program, students sing daily throughout their education, developing an ear for tone and harmony that builds in complexity.

Instruments are also introduced as early as 1st grade with the flute/recorder. In 3rd grade students choose a string instrument and by 5th grade they can expand their musical horizons into other instruments.

Even, since last few years, we have brought to them the glimpse of classical music and singing. We devote specific time for the children to learn this art of singing with the professional classical singing teacher.

That’s how the students get to learn the Waldorf way of singing as well as the classical singing.
